Faith Missionary Baptist Church has been a pillar in the south Phoenix community for 45 years.  Under the leadership and vision of Pastor Johnnie J. Hudson, the focus of Faith Missionary Baptist Church is reaching beyond the walls of the church building into the community to connect people to God, each other, and their purpose in Christ Jesus.  Our community mission is to bridge the gap of health disparities within the African American Descent, Black, underserved populations, and disadvantaged communities of color to improve the lives of these individuals.

Through our Community Outreach Health and Safety Resource Fair, Building, Readiness, Awareness, and Community for Early Detection (B.R.A.C.E.D.) 2 Fight Cancer Awareness Conference, our Food Distribution, and our health education programs such as Body and Soul Healthy Eating and Wellness Coaching we aim to open the doors of equity for our underrepresented communities to receive quality access to healthcare and resources, to reduce the cancer burdens and diseases that negatively impact the Black community, and to improve healthcare awareness to ultimately increase the quality of life of the individuals we serve.
